In August 2010 I launched a new Patrons Scheme to support all of the projects that I undertake. The Arts have a long history of patronage. This continues today and helps artists to develop and grow, and to achieve their artistic potential.
My growing interest in choreography over the past 4 years has reached the point where I am gaining increasing recognition (and funding) for my work. I would like to invite you to be more closely involved in my on-going work by becoming a patron.
Funding for innovative and experimental work is always difficult, and never more so than now. While I am receiving support from the Arts Council, South East Dance, Dance Ireland and The Point, these bodies often look to match or multiply funds provided by others. This Patrons scheme is designed both to generate funds to support new work directly, and also to unlock substantial additional funding from bodies like the Arts Council.
At a glimpse, there are 3 levels of support available:
- Make a one-off Donation
- Become a Patron: Annual membership £100
- Become a Life Patron: £500
What you get in return:
- The knowledge that you are supporting high quality artistic creativity at the cutting edge and enabling rapidly emerging artists to flourish and achieve their potential.
- Regular updates about my new work and any events or performances
- The opportunity to attend open rehearsals and ‘work in progress’ showings and feedback sessions during creation phases of new work.
- 2 complimentary tickets per year
- Acknowledgement of your support in performance programmes.
If you are interested in finding out more, please don’t hesitate to get in contact and I will send you the full information. I held a launch event in London last December to celebrate what we have achieved so far.
